CURRENT BEAUTY FAVOURITES

I've got a slightly different blog post for you today - my current favourite beauty products. Sorry if you're not interested in this type of thing but most of my girly readers will be I'd think! I've picked out my top 20 products that I'm using at the moment and they're in a completely random order, so forgive me for that! But hey it's good to mix it up a bit right?

1. Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub

I'm going to start with one of the my most essential beauty/skin products at the moment. I use this facial wash every morning and evening and it has worked wonders for my skin. My skin is so much clearer and cleaner since using this product and it smells absolutely divine!
2. Rimmel Clear Complexion Transparent Powder
I use this finishing powder over my foundation/concealer to set my make-up in place. I love that it's transparent so it doesn't alter the colour of your make-up when applied. I also really like the fact that it's a lightweight powder so it doesn't cake my make-up.
3. Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick. [Favourite shade: 08]
I love the Kate Moss lipstick range from Rimmel - they have such a lovely texture and last really well throughout the day. Shade 08 is almost identical to my natural lip colour so I love to wear this lipstick when I'm going for a natural make-up look but want my lips to be filled out.
4. Aveeno moisturising cream
This moisturiser - which can also be used as a hand cream - is suitable for use anywhere on the body but I use it mainly as a facial moisturiser. It's made only from natural ingredients and is my skin's saviour when it's dry. I use this every morning and night after washing my face with the Neutrogena daily scrub. I highly recommend it!
5. No.7 Instant Radiance Foundation. [My shade: Calico]
I tend to chop and change the foundations I use from time to time but for the last few months, this No.7 foundation has been my go-to one. As you may guess from its name 'Instant Radiance', it really helps my skin glow and look less dry. It's long-lasting and gives a medium coverage and I love it.
6. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer [My shades: 1 Fair, 2 Cool Medium]
I discovered this concealer through beauty YouTubers as they all rave about it. I use two shades: Shade 2 for concealing blemishes and Shade 1 for under-eye concealing and my nose. They give full coverage which is personally what I look for in a concealer. They don't work overly well on dry skin but most of the time they work perfectly for me and I'd be lost without them!
7. Sudocrem
Now I'm pretty sure this is an absolute staple for anyone's skincare collection. Sudocrem works magic on spots, blemishes and any wounds too. What do they put in that stuff?! It heals anything!
8. Remington Peal Curling Wand
I bought this curling wand for my sister for Christmas and it gave her such brilliant results that I couldn't resist buying one for myself! This wand is so fast and easy to use. You can form perfect curls in under 5 seconds and they stay in for days. My hair is long and fine but I have never been able to hold curls in it. I no longer have that problem with this wand - it's just absolutely brilliant. The coating on the wand is designed to make your hair silky and soft too, which I was sceptical about but it really does. Can't recommend this wand enough and it's super affordable!
9. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
I've tried out quite a few brushes from Real Techniques and never really got on with any of them, but the expert face brush is now my new best buddy. It blends liquid foundation really thoroughly and gives a flawless finish - just what I need.
10. Tangle Teaser
I thought I'd throw this one into the mix - let's just say I couldn't live without my tangle teaser. I use it as an everyday hairbrush. I find it works especially well for combing through conditioner and wet hair.

11. Collection Work The Colour Eyebrow Kit
I've been using this eyebrow kit for nearly a year now. It consists of three different shades of powder (blonde, brown and black) with a tiny angled brush and a brow setting gel. I really only use the brown powder and apply it to my brows with a longer-handled angled brush (from Topshop I think). It's long-lasting and flexible, e.g I use it as a lower lash eyeliner some days for a natural, soft look and often use the black as an upper-lash eyeliner. Overall, I love this kit and like how it has so many uses.
12. Body Shop Instablur
This primer from the Body Shop does what it says - it blurs imperfections and makes my skin so so soft. When I have 'do my make-up properly' kind of day, I use this under my foundation to prep my skin and it really helps to keep your make-up on all day.
13. Soap & Glory Archery
This brow product is a fairly recent purchase for me as I've been using the Collection kit for so long but I thought I'd give it a go. On one end is a brow felt tip brush which works well for tinting the brows and filling in a little. The only negative thing I'd say about it is that I find I have to push down pretty hard for it to work. The other end is a wax brow crayon which has been really good at filling in the brows and shaping them. Overall, pretty happy with this product.
14. Storm Flower Perfume by Cheryl
I do love a bit of Cheryl but it took me a while to get around to trying out her debut fragrance 'Storm Flower'. I wasn't disappointed. I really love this scent (it's sweet-smelling but not sickly sweet) and now wear it most days (when I remember!!).
15. Garnier Ultimate Blends Sleek Perfector Oil, Coconut
Another recent purchase, but a completely worthwhile one! This coconut hair oil is a godsend! It can be used before washing the hair to prep it, after to smooth it out and as a heat protector and also in between washes to give the hair a boost of moisture. It smells incredible and has made my hair so soft and shiny in the few times I've used it so far! I also think it's made it grow faster... but that may be my imagination...
16. Sleek Contour Kit [My shade: Fair]
This may be one of my favourite make-up products in my collection. This contour kit consists of a matte contour powder, a shimmery pink blush and a highlighter powder. I love all three powders and use them all every day. It's lasted ages too, but when it eventually runs out I will definitely be re-purchasing this.
17. Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator
I really should use this exfoliator more. Liz Earle is one of my favourite skincare brands, made from completely natural ingredients and just general skin goodness. The exfoliator is really effective and gentle and leaves my skin really soft and smooth - brilliant for when it's a little on the dull or dry side.
18. Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara [My shade: Black]
This mascara is my current favourite. What I really love about it is that it never produces any clumps - it makes your lashes thick, long and voluminous without being too heavy or sticky. Really impressed :)
19. Make Up Academy Eyeshadow Palette - Undress Me Too
As much as I, like every other make-up obsessed girl, would just LOVE to own a NAKED eyeshadow palette, it hasn't happened yet. I'm waiting for the day - it'll be a good one! But for now, I've found this much cheaper substitute. The 'Undress Me Too' palette has some really gorgeous warm neutral browns, golds and creams and I absolutely love them.
20. Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask
And finally, another lifesaver skincare product of mine is this botanical green clay face mask from Liz Earle. It's really effective and drawing out impurities from the skin and again, my skin always feels soft and smooth after using it. This is particularly great for when you have a breakout, instead of putting harsh chemical 'spot treatment' gels or creams on your skin. This is much more natural and works in about ten minutes.

So there's my top 20 beauty favourites at the moment. I'm trying out a few new ones so I may review them soon. I guess you'll have to wait and see! I hope this blog post was useful for some of you beauty-interested readers :)
