It's that time of the year again. Revision time. EWWW.

I'll just pretend right now to make you all feel better that I have exams coming up (I don't).

But that doesn't mean I can't give you a few friendly reminders about how great you're all going to do. If you put the work in, of course.

I know exams are stressful, and revision perhaps even more stressful, but it's all about your attitude towards them. It honestly makes such a difference if you open a textbook or an exam paper with a positive state of mind. Don't hate it. Don't be angry at it. Don't procrastinate. Don't moan about it.

I know that's almost impossible, but really try not to, because it'll make your life so much easier if you at least pretend to enjoy revising. And read these words. Stick them all over your walls. Stick them inside your eyelids if you have to. But repeat them and remember them.

Do what has to be done, when it has to be done, as well as it can be done.

You can and you will.

Procrastination is the thief of time.

A diamond is a chunk of coal that did well under pressure. (Wow!)

Put your positive pants on. (I love this one)

4 months from now you will thank yourself. (Results day)

Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.

Your mind is a powerful thing. When you fill it with positive thoughts, great things can happen. (Make great things happen!)

You don't want to look back and know you could have done better. (You don't, do you?)

Just keep swimming. (And watch Finding Nemo at the end of the day as a reward)

She believed she could, so she did.

Push yourself because nobody else is going to do it for you. (Except maybe your parents. And your teachers. But only because they care!)

It always seems impossible until it's done.

You need to do this for yourself.

There are only two options: make progress or make excuses.

You are so close to the victory, don't give up now. (You can do it!)

Your mistakes don't define you. Your determination does.

and finally, always remember that you are enough!!

Don't let anybody tell you that you can't do well in your exams. Don't let yourself tell you that either! Believe you can, do your best and be proud of yourself for doing so. Exam grades don't define you, but you do have to go through the motions, so you may as well do it to the best of your ability. I hope all your revision and exams go swimmingly.

Stay calm. Peace and love x
